LIGHT: Calathea’s are tolerant of lower light conditions, making them great indoor houseplants.
WATER: Never allow the roots to be soggy or standing in water but they do enjoy continuous availability of water in their soil. Water often but ensure excellent drainage and remember to reduce watering a little in winter.
GROWTH HABIT: Each leaf grows to around the size of a desert plate, maybe a bit smaller (depends on the size of your desert!). Your plant will expand quickly enough to fill a decorative pot or that shady area in your garden.
SIZE: Will grow up to 50cm tall.
