The Chlorophytum Comosum Spider Plant is a native to tropical and Southern Africa but has become naturalized in parts of Western Australia. This flowering perennial has long narrow arching green and white leaves.
LIGHT: Spider plants prefer bright light but tend to get scorched in direct sunlight. However, they will grow in conditions ranging from semi-shady to partial direct sun.
WATER: Water liberally through the summer and reduce watering during the winter. Mist occasionally.
GROWTH HABIT: While these exceptionally hardy plants will survive in less than perfect conditions, in perfect conditions they are stunning.
SIZE: Can grow 20-50cm tall.
