Philodendron Cordatum – HEART LEAF PHILODENDRON
Commonly called Heart Leaf Philodendron or Sweetheart, this is a trailing/vining variety originally from Central America and the Caribbean. The Heart Leaf Philodendron has beautiful green heart-shaped leaves that indoors are around 4-6cm across, although they can grow much larger outdoors, growing along a long vine stem.

LIGHT: Position your Heart Leaf Philodendron in bright indirect sunlight ensuring that it doesn't receive direct hot sun. The Heart Leaf Philodendron will survive in low light conditions but may become leggy in these conditions.
WATER: Like most indoor houseplants the Heart Leaf Philodendron doesn't require a lot of water. In warmer months allow the top layer of soil to dry between waterings. In cooler months you can back off on the water.
GROWTH HABIT: This is a trailing/vining variety of Philodendron that makes a popular houseplant due to low maintenance requirements and being easy to grow.
Philodendrons are wonderful air purifying plants and help to eliminate toxins in the home.
